Is it any good? I really like table tennis but haven't played in a while; I can't fit a table in a room nor find anyone (good enough) to play with. I've heard poor reviews for this game but just found out those people were mostly using the simple controls scheme. Is there any depth hidden in this game?
Not played it myself, but it got a good review from Eurogamer, and Eurogamer are pretty much better than any other big review site by a fair margin (they got God Hand!)
I say go for it, if you like table tennis, which you have said you do. It's only cheap.
I've played this on the 360, and there is indeed a lot of depth to the game. If you got this for cheap, I'd say it's worth the price.
You might say, "The controls suck" at first, but when you start playing, and get the controls (I'd suggest doing the tutorials first), the game becomes really fun to play. The computer players are a little cheap though, that's my only gripe. But yeah, if you like table tennis, this is probably the best thing to the real game out there.
