Hey guys, I was just looking for some feedback for a comic strip I've been working on for a while. Mind you, I'm an amateur at this whole Wacom thing and have never taken an art class so don't murder me.
I'd simply like some comments regarding where to expand on the sketchy art style, and what you think of the writing/delivery. This is one of my newest.

I do like the idea for the comic on voting.
apart from the change in inking (adding some dynamics) i'd also try to change the speech bubbles and the grey white background. it runs over the doors in the voting comic, which is weird.
I acutally think they are pretty cool. The one you posted here seems especially funny. Art can be cleaned up alot though, so keep practicing. General rule of thumb is, becoming a better artist in general will help your cartooning alot, so keep a sketchbook and constantly draw from life.
It didn't seem funny at all to me, but I think my brain instinctively goes "blah" to political jokes nowadays. The content isn't particularly original, but it could probably be saved with better delivery.

there's nothing wrong with super-solid lines neccesarily, but right now the lines are kinda plain. You can keep the solid lines, just try to make them more interesting is my advice. varying thickness to get a "brushy" fee, or using various thicknesses to make some parts stand out more than others.

The navigation on your site could use some work. There's no easy way to link someone directly to a specific comic, for instance, since it's using Ajax (for the sake of Ajax, apparently) to load the new image in place of the old.
The super-solid lines are on purpose, but if it looks that bad I might stay away from it.
It's not that it necessarily looks "bad," but I think it definitely needs to be polished. It's very sketchy and the thickness of the lines just makes you seem like you're having trouble keeping them smooth, not like an actual technique. If that's the look you want, like I said, just work towards polishing it.
Yeah, the art isn't too hot, but I actually read most of the comics because I found the jokes funny, at least funnier than a lot of web comics out there (made me chuckle more than CAD has in about a year).

This tutorial might be helpful.
Edit: And the writing seems entirely random. This thread might be a good read for you.

What software are you using to do these?
