Quick question about guitar tab

I'm learning the chorus to Where is My Mind by The Pixies, and although it's extremely easy, there's a few notes in the tab I can't quite understand:
E|-----4-----4-|----4-----4-|-----4-----4-|-0--0----0--
B|--5-----5----|-5-----5----|--4-----4----|-5--5p4--5--
G|-------------|------------|-------------|------------
D|-------------|------------|-------------|------------
A|-------------|------------|-------------|------------
E|-------------|------------|-------------|------------

Bolded parts are giving me trouble. I'm guessing, since it's 0 and 5 at the same time, I play those both at the same time? And what does 5p4 mean? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, you'd play the two strings at the same time. As for the 5p4, that indicates a pull off, which means that you have one finger on the 4th fret, and one on the 5th. After you play the note, you pull your finger off the 5th fret, and the note on the 4th fret will sound without you having to pluck the string again. I hope that makes sense.

Awesome, thanks. It's an easy song, but I really like it so I'd at least like to learn the lead chorus. Thanks!
