I'm looking at these guys:
VS NextVision N4
Samsung SIR-T4S1
Avermedia TVBOX
Or something similar
They're TV (VGA?) boxes that allow you to hook up your monitor as a display for consoles and such (well I just really need it for consoles).
But the list (of the best of the best) I saw on CNET is really old, and I can't find any Canadian resellers (their respective sites say Best Buy Canada and TigerDirect sell them in their stores but none of the stores I've tried have them or at least the dumb sales guys over the phone don't know shit, as per usual, about anything not regarding desktops and notebooks.
So what I need is tips and advice on which one to get (affordability is a big part) and where I could find a Canadian reseller (I'm calling Futureshops and Best Buys today because since I work at a Futureshop I can the things on cost and not on a price affected by The Great Canadian Gouge).

I've since had a look at a few converter boxes on eBay, but I've given up on the engrish translations for now. I think I'll see what some brick and mortar stores have.
