DVD Player is being a bit stubborn

This has to do with the disc tray. I want it to open. It opens and closes immediately. It doesn't stay open.

(Not mine, but gives the idea of it.)

Hopefully, you can't miss where the tray is on that thing.

I hit eject once, it opens and closes, never giving a chance to insert/remove a DVD. Repeat.

Repeat, like, 20 times because it's stubborn.

WTF is going on?

What happens if you use the remote's eject button (assuming it has one)? Maybe it's just a partially stuck button on the front panel.

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?

No, same problem either way. Though it does seem to open/close slower when using the remote's eject button.

Hmm... the only other idea I have (aside from replacing or taking it somewhere for repair), is to unplug it from power for 20 seconds or more, then plugging it back in and turning it back on.
