So... say you accept a job at one place, but a week or two later, another place wants to hire you, something better (pay-wise or other stuff). How would you go about switching jobs? Would you put in a two weeks at the current job? How would that make you look at the current company?
As in, you're already working the job you accepted? Have you signed any sort of contract? If you haven't signed a contract obligating you to work at least x long, you could theoretically leave for the better job. What kind of position is it? If it's for a fast food joint it's less of a big deal to leave in your first week than if the position is in a more professional setting.
If you did leave, you'd have to be prepared to completely burn that bridge in terms of references or ever being considered for another position at both that company and any company at all affiliated with them. You'd also have to be ready to be considered a complete asshat by everyone affiliated with the company you leave. Unless the difference in pay/other stuff between the old job and the new job is staggering, consider staying.
