I've decided to sell some old games to raise some money so that I may buy Rock Band (the complete set) for $169.83 + tax ($193.60 CAD tax included)(according to wal-mart.) What do you guys think a rational person would be willing to pay for Guitar Hero 3 with controller included (not the wireless, but no one likes those anyways) Assassin's Creed, Dead Rising, Enchanted Arms, and Viva Pinata? (all mint condition)

No idea on the used game pricing, but:

Do you really want to get rid of your GH3 controller? Unless you have more than one GH controller, you might be wanting that as a 2nd Rock Band guitar...

Take the retail cost of each, cut off like 20 bucks, and that's probably what you could get via Craig's List.

Don't sell that xbox 360 guitar, because it works with rock band and can be your bass if you want a four man band.

I'd trade in guitar hero 3 without the guitar at ebgamestop, and put it towards the smoke and lighting effects package for rock band, then sell the rest on craigslist as a $100 bundle.

Smoke and lighting effects package? Never heard of that, and we don't have any strictly gaming related stores here : (

It's coming out this summer and it's a multicolor flash strobe and fog machine you can use with rock band that pulses and emits fog based on the song you're playing.

that's cool if you don't have a gaming store, sell GH3 without the guitar on craigslist, and up the price to $120, so then you only have to come up with $80, but don't get rid of your guitar when the 360 is like the only version with any kind of cross compatability.

the PS2 version is also cross-compatable. I've used it myself with the GH2 Gibson SG.

Yeah I decided to put the CD up but not the guitar. I put the price at $140, does that still seem reasonable or should I take it down to $120? Keep in mind I also added GRAW and the arcade CD that came with the XBox. Here is the Craigslist posting : http://halifax.craigslist.ca/tag/566258552.html

::shrug:: since you added stuff it seems fair, and you're willing to negotiate down to $120, so yeah, I'd say you've got a fair listing.

edit: I didn't know the PS2 was also cross compatible, that's cool.
