Yeah. Last time I went to Toys'R'Us near there, I noticed that there was a LOT of empty space on that corner. :(

You never know...they might be rebuilding them or something. But I doubt it. There is another Subway down the street, I believe. But might as well just walk to Bellevue Square at that point.

Yeah, it's 1 block south of the Meydenbauer. Close enough that I'd consider it 'on the way' to the Doubletree.

Bellevue Square has all the good food you could want. If you just want crappy food, there's a Dairy Queen about 56 seconds from Meydenbaur.

Dairy Queen ran out of ice cream last year. We are a force on the scale of a hurricane.

It's their fault they didn't remember last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they fucked up again this year. I mean, it's not like it's that hard to pay attention to what events are happening at a center that's fifty feet away from you...

Heh I should head over there a couple weeks before PAX and warn the manager. It's only like 15 minutes from where I live (though more like 45 minutes if I bus it).

Most modern corporate businesses are like the dinosaurs. Coldblooded, slow and soon to be extinct. They make what they make and no one has enough incentive to change quickly or adapt to events. *Shrugg*

I'm guessing Meydenbauer & Doubletree ballrooms (all 4 this time), with events being spread between the two.

Well the ballrooms were used very well last year and were part of the coolness. SO I guess they could move the table top gaming and maybe the card gaming and some freeplay areas to there. This PAX there were a couple of interviews and movies that drew a small crowd so I guess those could be moved to the doubletree with out much trouble.

I don't know how much that MS guy would apreciaate being moved to a hotel basement to asnwer questions. Maybe it will lead to it being cooler and more intimate.

The trick is.. when you go warn then.. talk like a stereotypical italian mobster.

"Eida yoos get extra eats.. or my peoples dey eat yoos out a bidness."

And then.. once they see reason.. you gotta get at LEAST one restaraunt in visual range of the Maydenbauer to put up a sign like in this S*P strip.

Well, Fatburger wouldnt be a problem if I do the WCST and bring my car up again, last two years Ive been on foot so I relied on Chili Dogs, Subway, and Dairy Queen... I only went to Fatburger or Wendy's or such when I rode with someone else heading there.

The people I cam up with brought a minifridge which helped me store the food I bought. I suggest doing the same if the option is available to you. I leved off of Oddwalla Bars and Pom Wonderful, though that is not a suggested path. A little too healthy. PM me if you want to know why.
