The side of my pinky is numb.

As the thread title clearly states, it's quite numb. I sort of played Guitar Hero for a near solid weekend, and it's lost sensation in the spot where it made contact with buttons. There's circulation in the area, so it doesn't appear to be some sort of localized necrosis. Should I be concerned, or is this likely to go away over time?

This has happened to me before. It goes away after a day, or so. If it doesn't: doctor, pronto.

stop playing and see if it goes away

    which I'm certain it will

it'll happen with things like this, you hit any sensitized part of a body long enough and it'll feel tingly or numb

Also possibly minor RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). I've had this from excessive typing and writing. It usually goes away within a day.
