I know we (IE: I) went through this last year and since I can't find an existing thread about it, I thought I'd start a new one.
I know Metroid Prime Pinball was pretty big last year, but does anyone have a list of must-bring DS titles, or at least some recommendations?
edit: Also, I had fun playing Picross with people last year.

PictoChat FTW! At least it seemed to have 4 full rooms durring the concerts last year, and god forbid, you dont wanna see the pictures that flowed through them lol. Anyway, would Metroid Prime Hunters be good this year around, or did it not do so well last year? I think some people might be dueling with their pokemon too, and how about Advance Wars: Days of Ruin? havn't played it myself, but it seems like it might be pretty good.
I really need to get a copy of Worms.... also, regarding Pictochat, this about sums it up (overheard before a panel last year):
"...My God! I wonder how many penises are flying through the air above us now?"
I'm going to make an impassioned plea for people to bring Custom Robo... it's addictive! Not the most polish I've ever seen on a game, but the amount of fun makes up for it.

I've got Tetris, and Meteos down. Need to find a copy of Puzzle Quest, haven't been able to find any around here. Also need to get Mario Kart, Worms, and Days of Ruin.

NO! i don't fucking want to subscribe to game informer i have the interwebs, no i don't want to pre-order that game your pushing cuz it either sucks mah ball or is so awesome i pre-ordered it 5 months ago on amazon.com cuz they has free shipping, i'm only in here cuz a) i have 10 minutes to kill before i have to head back to work, b) got a giftcard for christmas/birthday, c) cuz it's cold outside and i needed to warm up for a few minutes before continuing home

lawl that's gamestop for ya, gotta love 'em. You guys that have Worms open warfare 2, does it require each person have a cart or can you host with just one?
I can always get a copy of Meteos, if they have any left, from the Nintendo employeee store. It be where I got my copy, because I couldn't find it anywhere else either
I'd buy a copy for you, if you could find a copy of Puzzle Quest for me
Or, if ANYONE could find a copy. For some reason, not even the employee store has it.
I've been wanting to play Castlevania (any one will do) on Co-op. Not necessarily a must have for PAX, but I think it would be fun to play for a while.
Mario Kart DS
Tetris DS
Mario Party
Worms
Elite Beat Agents
Zelda
Metroid
...
pretty much anything that supports download play so that you can play with people who don't have the game...
They also have the DS tourney where you pretty much challenge people to games and try to win their pins or something - I don't quite remember how it worked >.> but they will likely do it again this year.
i worked extra hard to get my 3 star in mario kart ds so i'd be able to impress everybody :P
i need to pick up a copy of Tetris DS again too
i have EBA and Advance Wars Dual Strike as well
I wish Final Fantasy Tactics for the GBA was multiplayer. That'd be some good gamin'. Square should get on that train for the DS.
But I digress. Is worms on the DS as good as Worms was on the PC? Because if so, I've got to grab a copy of that before PAX for sure. (Is it the same Worms I'm thinking of... where the little worms fire bazookas and call airstrikes on each other and such in a fully destroyable 2-D map?)
Uh-oh I'll be sure to get the sequel then. Many hours did I waste playing that game on the PC... but that was only against computer opponents. I can't even imagine how badly I'll get smacked around when playing against other humans.
Surely someone else likes it besides me and my wife.
My husband and I like it! Gotta love bowling!
Hooray!
We'll have to make a Clubhouse in which to play our games.
Last year when I was wait forever in the line on the first day I was playing clubhouse games most of the time, but I usually ended up in last each time.

I was driving some out-of-towner friends around, and I kept complaining about being blinded. They responded with "You see, where we come from, people tend to wear Sunglasses." I retorted with a simple "You people tend to have sun."
Clubhouse games is now impossible to find apparently. I guess it's gone out of print. I can only find it used for a 100% markup, and all the retail stores have it out of stock.
Anyone know of someone willing to part with their copy for a reasonable price? I need it to go with my wife's new DS.

Hmm. I'll be checking out eBay and the local Gamestop for sure. Granted, I'm no fan of Gamestop, but if you're looking for an out-of-print game they'll usually have it at a good price.

Yeah, I got lucky last year before PAX and found a single used copy at my local Gamestop - so good luck to anyone hunting it down.

I wish all the GBA multiplayer games were supported by the DS. I can appreciate the dual-cart functionality-- but it's an entire failure that the multiplayer doesn't work. I don't understand how the unit couldn't emulate the cable connection using the built in wifi, it would be fantastic *and* brilliant if Nintendo had done that in the first place.
I finally found the last remaining copy in Georgia of Clubhouse Games, thank goodness. It took me over a month to track one down. We're set for line waits.

Is the new Cooking Mama any fun with multi-player?

I'm looking forward to having someone (many someones?) to play against... Single player got really boring for me after I hit the level cap.

I played a couple matches online, but wasn't too keen on it. Not to mention the idiots who just quit out of matches if you're going to win =/
