I e-mailed my professor telling him about my stupidity and I'm going to hand it in after class.

In my experience, professors are pretty cool people. Very few of them are so disenfranchised with teaching that they'll dick you over because you overslept.
Most of them will let you slack off the entire semester, apologize two weeks before the end, make up all the assignments you didn't do, and then give you a B.
In my experience anyway. :P

Suikoden. Apparently. There was a big push for Suikoden avatars in the new phalla game so I requested someone who was something of a ruthless asshole of a character. They came up with this guy.

Fortunately, the command's new micromanaging policies mean that the guy who probably won't even see me today unless we cross paths in the hall denied it on the basis that I have duty, even though both people in charge of me and actually affected by my loss said it was perfectly fine.
Not that I was champing at the bit to get out of here or anything, but that's still some fucked up policy and reasoning.
