Okay, here's the deal. I'm finally picking up a Pyro AV, which is an analog to DV converter, on the way home from school today. Primarily to convert some old home movies to DVD.
However, as a nice aside, this means I can get in on this whole let's play action. So, what hasn't been done before? I'm thinking something of the NES persuasion, such as Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers? Thoughts?
you should just do a serious runthrough of an AVGN game.
edit: does that work with modern systems?
What the device I'm picking up? I don't see why not. It's just got Composite and S-Video on the front and then a Firewire port on the back along with outputs so you can pass it through to a TV.

You should do Aladdin, so I can see someone beat the Lava level with my own eyes.
woohoo
Or if you're looking for an RPG, Crystalis.
Some games I would like to see: Zelda 2, Crystalis, Shadowgate, Faxanadu
StarTropics would also be sweet. Or Metroid.
(lulz zelda 2)
I agree with StarTropics, that game was awesome.
What about Mission: Impossible?
actually don't do that one that one's mine
Never played it. I was voting for the NES game
Whomp 'Em
Hook
Superman
Uninvited
Takeshi no Chousenjou
Legacy of the Wizard
If you don't do any of these I certainly will. In fact I think I'll tackle Blaster Master, Superman and Hook.

Depending on how often you quicksave, it would be either a pain to complete or an utter embarrassment for others to watch.
Yea, roguelikes don't really work as Let's Plays.
