The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I've had a long heavy wool jacket for a couple years now and the lining is now completely destroyed. Rather than trying to repair it I wanted to get a new jacket. The trouble is I want a WW2 vintage *Royal Navy* PEA coat or greatcoat.
Besides ebay (which only had 1 that would fit me and I lost the bid) where would I start looking for something like this? My main concerns are
A) has to be very warm I'd *like* it to be vintage (price is not an issue, I am thinking around $400+)
C) it *MUST* have original buttons, I do not want wood replacements.
I'm sure this isn't the best place to ask but I don't really frequent any other forums and my current coat is literally falling apart on me.
I've been to probably 10 all up and down the island I'm on and none have any so I'm stuck with online unfortunately.
There's a couple stores on the mainland you might want to try. A few in Vancouver, and a couple in New Westminster might have what you are looking for.
