Old Gamecube, New Problems

So I have an interesting problem: I have both a gamecube and Wii, and both work, but I don't feel like holding onto a older piece of technology that has no foreseeable use beyond a paperweight and something that takes up space (currently in the trunk of my car).

I can't sell it back to any retailer because 1:I bought it used, and it came with a 3rd party coax adapter, no RGB cables. and 2: I am using the only controller that came with it for the Wii.

Now, I know there is the obvious "use it to play hacked games", but I want to know if there is any other alternative uses for this hunk o plastic. I have no real use for it, I don't have any friends who want a 'cube (and I wouldn't sell/give it to them without a RGB cable and controller)...and the backwards compatibility of the Wii leaves me with a system that is TOTALLY USELESS...but I feel horrible throwing it away.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Give it to some kid or to charity? I dunno, once you have a Wii there really is no point in having a Gamecube.

Get teh gameboy player, and use it to play old B&W gameboy games on your TV that are no longer supported on the DS lite.

I plan on getting a Gameboy Player for my Cube, and hook it up to my Wii via GBA>GCN cable, and throw in a regular GBASP and use a 70-30 split on my TV for playing Zelda "Two" Swords. This will allow me to replace my 2nd SP with a Micro (since I only keep the 2nd SP around for FSA).

If you have no use for a GBP, and don't want to have more than one gaming area, give the Cube to a kid who wants it.

This is what I'm doing once I get my second TV (or a HDTV for the living room).

Use it for home improvement? I dunno. I've built fish tanks out of old Mac SE's before. Surely there's something you can use to make your house nerd sheik.

I have a game cube with a game boy player, however I can't bring myself to use it ever since my vga cable for it broke. (Games look so much shittier in 480i, damn you nintendo for canning the component cables) So for now it sits in my closet.

Let me tell you about Demon's Souls....
I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. That’s right, when you fail in this game, it gets harder. Why? Because fuck you is why.

Another advantage that the Gamecube has over the Wii is that it is compatible with the broadband adapter, so if you ever want to play Mario Kart: Double Dash with up to sixteen players, you'll need to use that model.
