Xbox Live Problem

My Xbox 360 will not connect to Xbox Live. At first I thought my subscription ran out or something, but that can't be. Plus I would still be able to connect to Xbox Live if that was the case anyway. So I tested the connections and they say everything is fine except Xbox Live itself. I clicked on More Info and I got a Status Code:

Alright guys & gals here is my problem. Also, add the 360 to your DMZ list if the routers firewall is being a little bitch.
Only use DMZ as a temporary solution. That should not be a permanent fix for anything, unless you know precisely what DMZ is and why you are using it.
Look for a setting called uPnP in your router and turn it on. Then turn off your 360, and power cycle your router. Once the router is back up, and you can browse the web with your PC, turn on your 360 and try again.

The reason why its ok to leave the 360 outside the DMZ is that it is very unlikely to see 360's get hacked over the internet. Microsoft has control of the direct internet connection. Maybe I wouldn't put credit card info into the 360 but thats just me. uPnP could also be abused.
I'm curious why you would say that. I'm willing to hear you out if you have information I don't have.

Try direct connecting the 360 to the router. Are you wireless or wired? What kind of Router are you using?

Thanks.
I feel stupid.
