Xbox Live Problem

Alright guys & gals here is my problem.

My Xbox 360 will not connect to Xbox Live. At first I thought my subscription ran out or something, but that can't be. Plus I would still be able to connect to Xbox Live if that was the case anyway. So I tested the connections and they say everything is fine except Xbox Live itself. I clicked on More Info and I got a Status Code:
W: 0000-000B
X: 0000-F001
Y: 30A8-4860
Z: 8015-1918

I have no idea what the code means. I tried searching, but the only codes I found were the RoD ones.

*Short story*
Basically my Xbox 360 is acting like it is not connected to the Internet, but the Connection Test says it is.

Help me G&T your my only hope.

Try direct connecting the 360 to the router. Are you wireless or wired? What kind of Router are you using?

Also, add the 360 to your DMZ list if the routers firewall is being a little bitch.

Oh snap! I didn't even think about it, but I just set up a new router. Duh! Okay I am going to check that, but I am pretty sure that is the problem.

    Thanks.

    I feel stupid.

Only use DMZ as a temporary solution. That should not be a permanent fix for anything, unless you know precisely what DMZ is and why you are using it.

Look for a setting called uPnP in your router and turn it on. Then turn off your 360, and power cycle your router. Once the router is back up, and you can browse the web with your PC, turn on your 360 and try again.

The reason why its ok to leave the 360 outside the DMZ is that it is very unlikely to see 360's get hacked over the internet. Microsoft has control of the direct internet connection. Maybe I wouldn't put credit card info into the 360 but thats just me. uPnP could also be abused.

I'm curious why you would say that. I'm willing to hear you out if you have information I don't have.

Well, technically the 360 would be "in" the DMZ :)
