I'm sure there's plenty out there and I'm just not thinking clearly, but could you guys be kind enough to help me find one stop online shopping that aren't called amazon?

Short but sweet.

I've never had problems with Buy.com

In fact, I've found most of the things I buy from there cheaper than others.

play.com is where my brother (I don't own a credit card) does all his online shopping and has never had a problem with their service after about 150 purchases ranging from DVDs to games to posters and t-shirts.

If those options don't help, perhaps explaining what it is that bugs you or causes amazon to not be an option would help us list websites that are more in tune to what you're looking for?

I was just looking for other places for comparisons on prices and shipping options between.

    Thanks so far, been great.

If you use FireFox, try these out:

I've used a couple and they're pretty neat, if you're looking for specific things. Amazon often cheats by offering free shipping, even if it takes a week longer than it would otherwise, but at least it's fair cheating (by simply not charging shipping costs).

I've had a fair amount of success with Overstock.com. They have spent a good share of their advertising budget comparing themselves to a discount Amazon. It's true, sometimes.

If you're just looking for other sites to price compare with, there's tons of sites that specifically do multi-site price comparisons.

I'm not sure what the "best" one is, but I've used Pricegrabber.com a lot to great success.
