Program for making forms

I'm in need of a program that can make those forms that are designed on squared grids and you fill out letters in tiny boxes. I've seen a lot of people build them on MS Excell, but my experience with Excell is that extensive text information tends to get distorted, also because it builds colors in RGB it tends to have problems at the press.

Does anyone know of a program that can do this? Someone recomended MS Infopath, but I'm sure there's other options out there.

I think we need more information to help you.

Do you have a screenshot of the kind of forms you want to make?

I thought I knew what you were talking about until I saw "squared grids and you fill out letters in tiny boxes", which sounds kind of like Excel but not really.

automagically create forms? probably not. but any layout program (inDesign) should do that, and do it very very well. there are just so many variables to this.

infopath seems more like a front end creator for SQL/Access. it seems to be positioned as an electronic form creator. so you will still have problems with a printer.

so if you need these printed, i'd say suck it up, grab inDesign and start laying out tables.
