So recently I noticed a spot on my monitor that looks like a scratch of some kind. More specifically, it looks like a thin layer of whatever the topmost layer is on the screen has come off. It still displays fine, but everything inside this scratch area looks duller than the rest of the screen. It is quite noticeable and really bugging me. Is there anything I can do myself to fix this, or will I have to send it in? It's an Acer, if that makes any difference.
Also, I used some screen cleaner and nothing happened to that spot so I am pretty sure it is a scratch and not just some stuff on the monitor.
