    I had a long talk with a friend the other day because I said that people shouldn't act surprised when they get pulled over for speeding. You are willfully breaking the law in public. There are whole departments of the policing infrastructure dedicated to witnessing your public lawbreaking and catching you. There are lasers and radar and all sorts of james bond shit to assist in the catching you in your public lawbreaking, and yet people are absolutely flabbergasted when they get pulled over.

    The closest I've come to being caught at anything was when I was crashing at a friend's place after a night at the bar. She walked in on her roommate blowing me. But no big deal was made, just a "Whoops" and hasty exit. No big deal.
