Critical Failure in the e-mail system

Our server is no longer able to send emails. I am investigating a bypass method, to hold us over until our server gets relocated to a new facility, which I've been lead to believe is on the near-term horizon.
In the immediate interim, I've had to disable registration, because activation emails were not being sent.
If you registered recently and did not receive an activation email, please email forumadmin@gmail.com and Cardboard Tube or I will manually activate your account. Otherwise, you can wait and when I get the bypass system working I will resend activation emails for the last couple dozen registrations.
In the medium-term, when I get the bypass system working, I will allow activation emails and "forgotten password" emails to go out, but I will not be allowing subscribed thread emails or birthday emails or PM notification emails to go out. Those features will remain disabled until we get moved to the new facility.
