so im playing Forza 2 ive gotten to near the end and im lvl 46, i dont feel like just racing before i finish the game, i'd like to just hire drivers to do it for me, problem is when i walk away the 360 controller shuts off and it pauses.

is there any way to shut off this auto shut off timer? ive looked in the system settings but cant find anything.

Leave your play and charge kit plugged in, or use a wired controller.

Nope. I also had this problem with Oblivion, when I wanted to just leave the stick pegged in jail to auto-raise stealth. You'll need to do what Willeth says.

I'm doing the same thing right now for Viva Pinata - the only achievement I'm missing is the 50 hour playtime one. I woke up this morning to realize I had auto-shutdown on for the console itself, so make sure you turn that off too :P

That's a good idea. I was playing Smash Bros with a friend and chatting in XBL at the same time, and was quite annoyed that the controller would keep shutting off on me. Thanks for the suggestions guys. :P
