So I bought a 24'' NEC monitor with HDMI input and SPDIF out (only for the HDMI sound). I have these 5.1 speakers hooked up to my computer... (they dont have any SPDIF/optical inputs). My computer has a SPDIF in, (It's a realtek alc850 on a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D?). I just want the sound coming in through the SPDIF to be processed and sent out to the speakers accordingly in their full DD or DTS glory. How should I go about doing that?
