Fixing The Bold

I installed my old Metal Gear Solid for PC and it didn't work. I chalk this up to my computer being too advanced for it. No big deal, I uninstalled it and forgot about reliving my nostalgia. But now my fonts are all bold. In Firefox, everything on the menus and anything I type in the address bar is all bold. It wasn't like this before MGS so I'm sure that's the problem. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
