i'm using Donkey Kong's ground pound to beat 100-man in under 3:30
at 3:24 on the last guy (who is also donkey kong) i get blown up by a super bomb

I used Ike. Go under one of the side platforms and use forward smash whenever someone is above or in front of you and you can get through it pretty quick. I unlocked like 3 of the challenges at once that way.

Again, if you can beat boss battles on intense then I will suck my own cock.

Munkus, I haven't tried it on intense but I imagine if I can avoid getting hit by any of the boss attacks, which is entirely possible if I'm careful, I could eventually beat it on intense. I haven't done it consecutively but I believe I beaten each boss without them scoring a single hit one me.

I don't know how to dodge Tabuu's giant explosion thing
the one where he goes into the background and sprouts wings and it covers the whole stage

My friend and I just beat it last night on Normal. Intense is well...look, if you can avoid getting hit ever, then you'll do pretty good, since Tabuu is always the last guy you fight, and every move he does instagibs you.

Your timing doesn't have to be impeccable, I can dodge it almost every time. You just tap down just before each of the red lines hits you.

It's difficult, even if you know how, but if you get to the outer most edge as soon as you see him sprout wings, hold the shield button, and just dodge downward as best you can when you see the waves starting, you can survive it.
For some reason the golden reticle is actually the one that gets me the most but if I have a good presence of mind I can avoid that pretty easily.
I'm usually reckless with it on normal and have to use a couple hearts but if you take it slow and learn the different attacks it's not that difficult, eventually.

I had to readjust for online play compared to offline. Metaknight is a tiny ball of speed and priority, fallout. Almost everything he does outprioritizes the enemy.

my first online match

no items on halberd right?
do you have to use the same character for all of your tournament battles?

is it always that laggy

I will get on right now.
And no. You choose your character at the start of each match. The loser of a battle may switch characters, but the winner may not change.
So if guy A and B are fighting
A chooses Ike, B chooses Wolf. A wins.
A has to stay Ike, B can switch. B chooses Marth. B Wins.
A can switch, B has to stay Marth. A chooses Fox. A wins the battle and the match.
The battle is reported as 2-1 win for A.
But your timing has to be pretty good.
I have to leave in 20 minutes.
Or anyone else for that matter.

Not saying it wouldn't take me forever to do.

I am so much faster
I'm having to slow my own reaction times on purpose to account for lag
