Ok small destresser: my friend turned in his bar application and told me it was much easier than I had expected. They only need your best recollection of things like speeding tickets, and they notarize the stuff you need notarized right at the office when you turn it in. Phew.
I don't like the caffine because of the shakes I used to have, well that and it doesn't help you lose weight it actively works against the process.
It makes me stay up too late, so unless I know I need to stay up late, I avoid it.
I never had the staying awake issue, it was more my anxiety keeping me up then any substance. Mine was just the dependence on it, and the constantly drinking that got me off it. I was a different person drinking caffine and I didn't like the comedown.
Preacher on
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
I don't seek out or avoid caffine. I used to have a dependency on it, but i broke that about a year ago. About the only time i'll seek it out now is if i'm starting to get a certain kind of headache (hard to describe but i know it when i feel it) as it can help with that.
It's actually a fat retardent from what I remember from some class (like alcohol) it keeps the fat in your system. Though that could have been something else in soda, I remember my weight lifting teacher specifically saying avoid it if you want to tone up.

I just feel sorry for my customers that come in everyday, or even two or three times a day to get their drinks with 4 shots of espresso worth of caffeine in them...

Might be an undiagnosed migraine. Apparently, for some people, caffeine helps those. Of course, for others, it triggers / exacerbates them.

Yeah, that would be the high-fructose corn syrup.
Caffeine will help you lift more, lift longer, and burn more while you're doing it.

My migraines are quite diagnosed (at age 4, none-the-less), and yeah, it's one of the kinds that lead usually lead to a migraine.

I don't think there's a consensus either way... I went looking for that information a few months ago and found people swearing that it helps and about the same number swearing that it hinders... and none of them any more reliable than the others from what I could tell.

I've never heard anything like that. It's a stimulant, stimulants help you lose weight. Hell, a small amount of caffeine every day is good for you.
Doesn't chocolate have caffeine in it? I definitely get enough chocolate per day.
I knew a guy in college that couldn't go to sleep unless he drank a Mountain Dew right before bed. That was weird.
Chocolate has a small amount of caffeine in it.
I used to be like that, with needing some caffeine to sleep, actually. It's sort of like needing a cigarette. Even though it's a stimulant, if you're that addicted, it helps you to relax.

Ahh so it was more of a just avoid soda type thing then? Well either way there was a mental difference for me so I avoid it (I felt happier on caffine and depressed off it cut it out of my life and I wasn't so bi polar).

I think I also avoid caffeine because I wouldn't want to develop an addiction/dependence to pop or coffee drinks, because they have so much other stuff in them that's no good for me. :P

Migraines suck. But yeah, it can go either way. And it's not necessarily a migraine, either; could just be a tension headache. Caffeine helps to open the blood vessels. That's one of the reasons Excedrin has caffeine in it.

Yes, all that other bad stuff in coffee like....water? :P

Coffee is awesome for you, in small doses. Like red wine (in fact, for much the same reason red wine is awesome for you) or tea (only coffee isn't as hard on your kidneys). A cup or two a day is hella good for you, more than that, not so much.
And not decaf, either. You don't get the health benefits that you do from normal coffee.

Did you see the part where I said "coffee drinks"?
I don't like straight coffee, so I always drink it in latte form (whole milk olol), usually with some other sugary stuff added.
What I dont drink coffee. What are you going to do about it, stand on your lawn and yell at me?
I don't care if you don't drink coffee. I rarely drink coffee (and I work at a bloody coffee shop).
But pfffting coffee? Come on man, there is some good coffee out there, don't deny yourself the satisfaction of it.
I had coffee before, used to drink it, but then when I got a headache one day because I didnt have time for my usual morning coffee I decided to cut coffee out of my life. :P

Yeah, when I get to the point that I'm all wound up and something caffeinated helps me settle down and focus, I know it's time to cut it out entirely for a while.
Normally, I'm ok with like one or two a week, or even up to once a day, but I really try not to have it even that often because I sleep better without it.

Maybe i'll let you know
Also mike, know what would make that picture better? If the dude had a boner in the last panel.

Teefs probably made it. Given that, I'm not sure why boners were not more prevalent.
That'll end up being a sig in SE++ by morning. You've quoted about their god.

Transgender 16 year old annoying prat, that's all you really need to know. Oh and his family is pretty well off, yet he complains about that as well.

Hehehe.
Medo: You could always use non-fat milk and less sugary stuff, or a smaller size in general. Course, the coffee taste will be stronger then.
