I can easily go buy a new card on Saturday but I'd rather have a second, third and maybe fourth opinion on the matter before I go blowing cash on another card.
Sorry for any crazy typos or what not, I can only sort of see what I am doing.
EDIT: Kinda realised that that's not too deep on information so quick explanation:
My display started acting up a week ago and progressively got worse until it's in a permanent state as shown above. I'm pretty sure it ain't to do with the card ov4erheating as I've got plenty of cooling .

Yea. Looks like the videocard's shot. If you're running windows there's a diagnostic test you can run on startup that checks your hardware and if it is your videocard you'll be able to tell from the error it prompts. Unfortunately I can't recall the exact manner to get to that diagnostics bit
Is the inside of your computer dusty? You never know what can happen when things get too clogged up and short out. Try getting a can of compressed air and blowing it out first.
It's also possible that the power supply could be screwed up, but I guess that's less likely to cause artifacts so much as plain old instability.
Otherwise, yeah, it's shot.
