Game Boy (Color) Link Games?

I can't find a good list of original Game Boy and Game Boy Color multiplayer games. I only know of a few off hand but I'd be willing to buy multiple copies if there's some really good ones out there. A "complete" list would be nice but I don't expect anything like that since I imagine quite a few games had support for it.

Any idea on where I might start looking for an easy list of these titles?

Faceball 2000 is one. You can play a sixteen player game.

There's some question as to how many gamers were ever actually able to enjoy the full potential of FaceBall. The logistics of the setup necessary to take advantage of 16-sided play were so demanding as to make a full Four Swords ensemble seem like nothing: sixteen players, sixteen Game Boys, sixteen copies of FaceBall, a handful of daisy-chained four-player link cables, and enough AA batteries to sustain a small city through a rolling blackout. But the rewards for rounding up the requisite number of people and necessary quantities of gear were easily worth it to those few ambitious combat addicts: it turned them into brave pioneers who were able to taste the joys of massive competitive first-person battling years before id made it a standard with Doom.

lol, what would even have inspired them to add support for that?

In the perilous world of Warlocked, a ferocious war is raging between the Human forces of Queen Azarel and the Beast horde of Chief Zog. Players can control either side, each of them offers 30 missions.

Warlocked brings real-time strategy gaming to the Boy Color set in a fantasy warfare scenario. The key to victory is a balanced mix of resource gathering, building, exploration and combat. Adding a magical twist to the straightforward action is the presence of wizards, each of whom has one powerful spell. While some wizards can convert enemy troops to your side, others can change them into chickens or skeletons. More than 20 kinds of wizards are hidden throughout the game.

Using a Game Link Cable, you can test your war skills against another player. Two-player battle maps are earned by progressing through the single-player game. Warlocked also enables you to build your own personal armies with resources that you have saved in your campaigns in single player mode, and then trade them with a friend using the infrared ports on the console.

    Warlock sounds fucking awesome.

Also, I fucking hated Faceball, but I had no idea it could network like that. That's really impressive!

Done it before with my brother and some friends. We're kinda big supporters of the brick boy. Anyways, the hard part wasn't getting the brickboys, nor the batteries. The games weren't too bad, and the 4 way link cables were only a minor concern (Also useable on the awesome original version of Wave Race)

    The real problem?

Finding a good place to sit. Those cables were short as shit. It's a logistical nightmare.

I'm so glad we're in a wireless era of multiplayer gaming.
