Games From 2004 Cannot Die!!!

I just bought the latest Warhammer40k expansion as my PC hadn't been updated since 2004. Yep, the 6800GT is still going strong! Anyways, buying that game made me realize that the original was released in 2004 along with HL2 and we just saw episode 2 released recently too.

So... its 2008 and the tech from 2004 is still going strong. Was 2004 the best year for gaming technology, we saw ATI & Nvidia come out with equally amazing cards. Or was it the greatest year in games with the releases of Halo2, Doom3, HL2 and Riddick?

    The X800 was not an amazing card, I think it has fueled a lot of resentment for only supporting Shader 2 and not Shader 3 like the 6800.
