It's about time for me to update/upgrade my video card and I'm trying to decide what I want to do.
I have a GeForce 7600GT 256mb at the moment. It's SLI, so I can pick up another card and dual them for about $80 (plus shipping) (http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11610BD4745&vpn=256-P2-N615-TX&manufacture=EVGA)
I was also considering picking up an 8600GTS instead, also SLI (https://www.a-power.com/product-5046) for about $145ish (plus shipping, or I might pick it up at a local store for slightly more than cost plus shipping, but then I get it faster plus support local shops, hurrah)
I haven't got a -huge- amount to spend, I'd like to stay under $150 and I am not a fan of ATI's junk. I also live in Canuckia so if it costs lots to ship here, I'm not interested
thoughts? other suggestions?
