I am currently running Wordpress version something like 1.2 or the likes (OLD). I really want to get all the Worpress generated pages on my blog for archiving, but I dont want to go through each page and do a "save as" (that would take forever). Like, as in, I want to save the WHOLE PAGE. I understand that if I update to a newer version of Wordpress, there is an export function. Will that generate and export all my blog pages in their entirety, or will it simply export the blog data (posts, comments, etc). I would really like to backup my entire blog (graphics, background, posts, and all) as they are displayed in my browser. Will export do this?

Why don't you set up a separate WordPress 2.x install, try out the function, and find out? It won't take too long and you can remove the new installation later if you want. Actually, I'd argue that a version of WP that old is a security vulnerability and needs to be upgraded somehow anyway.
