Hard drive cloning?

I have just received a 500 gigabyte hard drive that I'd like to start using on my PC, but I need to rethink my configuration. I only want to have 2 hard drives (or rather, really only have room for 2) in my PC. Right now I have:

40 GB HD - Windows install
200 GB HD - Miscellaneous storage

So I'd like to change it to:

200 GB HD - Windows install
500 GB HD - Miscellaneous storage

I'd like to use some kind of cloning tool to get everything from the 200 GB drive onto the 500 GB and then clone the contents of the 40 GB drive onto the 200 GB one. I'm not sure what the best tool for this job is but I have looked at the Ultimate Boot CD so far:

http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

It includes the following hard drive cloning tools:
HDClone (Free Edition) 3.2.6
g4u 1.17
UDPcas
PC INSPECTOR clone maxx 0.95 Build 769
XXCOPY 2.93.1
EaseUs Disk Copy 1.0
COPYR.DMA Build 013
CopyWipe

If any of those could be vouched for that'd be great. But asides from that please recommend what you think would handle this situation best, preferably free but if there's something for a decent price that'll save me headaches/sacrificing of my hard drives then I'll go for that too.

UBCD can do anything. I've used HDClone without any problem, but not the rest - that disk has more stuff on it than I even know.

I also have a copy of Paragon Drive Copy, but it's not free, unless you can nab it from work like I did.

I currently have something close to the setup you are planning to go for, (250GB windows, 320GB media storage) and I'm finding that the 250 is not enough for my main windows install.

With the advent of HD media and just for general future proofing, I would do a 500GB and a 750GB if I were in your shoes.

You can clone, but I'd throw in the 500, copy the 200 to the 500 and then set the 500 as a slave and reformat the 200. I'm just assuming you're using XP and I tend to look for excuses to reload my home machine every few years.

Edit: Also toss that 40 in a beater box and run linux on it.
