Wireless Network Bizzaro issues

I'm trying to work with a wireless network. The router simply doesn't show up on the normal list of wireless networks availble in the neighborhood. At first I thought it wasn't broadcast an SSID, but several other machines in the building are logged onto it and per them it its broadcasting and should show up.

Any thoughts?

    Bad location so poor signal quality? You can download netstumbler and check the signal strength from that PC.
