Site sticks at March 26th?

I'm having a very weird issue. Everytime I visit Penny-Arcade.com, the front page is the post from March 26th. If I click "comic" I guess Uncompromising Vision (not sure what date that was posted.) The next, and new buttons only take me back to the front page, dated March 26th.

I've tried it in Firefox 2, Firefox 3B5, and IE7. Everything gets me the same results. I've cleared my cache and it doesn't change anything. I've asked a friend, and he also only sees the 3/26 post.

What's up?

Are you visiting from a bookmark, or are you typing the address into the nav bar?

I normally come from the RSS feed, where a comic link will give me the "whoops..." comic, and any other link brings me to March 26th. From there, I always try clicking the main logo on the site to take me to the front page, but still get March 26th. I'll then try typing it in manually, same deal.

I was going to suggest forcing a refresh, but clearing the cache should already have done that.

Feed has been working fine for me in Google Reader. It had problems a while ago but they were ironed out AFAIK. jothki's advice is probably best. What feed reader do you use?

    Hey people,
Posting this for a mate of mine. He's having similar trouble loading the site. Everything before a month ago is fine, and Free Waffles is the latest comic he can see. He's cleared his cache, that doesn't change anything. He tried from his iPhone, different OS, different hardware, different everything, Safari, mobile, and he still gets Free Waffles and the blog about EA selling guns.

I linked him direct links to the new comics and the image urls as well. Both give him an error that says "Clearly something has gone terribly terribly wrong. We're sorry we can't find that file. Tycho is as confused as you are..."

Anyone have a clue what could be wrong and/or a solution?
    cheers!
    Mog

Its worst tendencies having gone dormant for months, Electronic Arts suddenly drew itself up to its full height and began a fresh round of decapitations. Over the years, we've had to hold interventions like this from time to time for the company. It is in that spirit that we open a dialogue.
    etc
where do you see that guy talking about having the same problem?
    forum somewhere?
    Mogget: yeah
    PA forum
    I'll post
    me: link me?

    Hi All,
I'm sure some of you all have noticed that some weird errors and slowness has showed up in the past day or so. I'm going to pull the forums offline and move them into a new datacenter tonight. There will be a few hours that the forums will be offline entirely as I move the forums from Santa Clara to LA.
We will also be changing IP addresses for the forums, so it might take a little bit for your computer to notice the new forum IP address. If you know how to update your HOSTS file, I'll post the IP address in the downtime message so you can start chatting immediately otherwise it should take 1-8 hours depending on your ISP and luck.

    Mogget: what;s that from?
me: that's what I get from your link
    Mogget: wuh
me: it sounds like whatever domain name server by web browser is referencing might be pointing me to the wrong IP
    doesn't it?
Mogget: yes, but that's not the link I sent you
    [wince]
me: I realize that, but the link you sent me would go to the wrong IP if the DNS had bum info about where PA is supposed to be
    AHA!
    yup
I get to the right thread if I go here:
    http://208.81.201.38/showthread.php?t=55663
    lol
    Mogget: interesting
what do you get if you enter the ip address?
    me: the PA forums
    not the main site

me: rofl, I just registered for their forums and I had to spoof it the same way
    Mogget: lol
me: and it won't let me log in
    for the same reasons
can you post a message for me, maybe?
    Mogget: sure
    just signed up meself
me: just throw this chatlog in there

PS: his email verification won't work for the same reason.

If he's using the iPhone in his house off of his own wifi, presumably the same connection as his PC, it could be an issue with his network home network or maybe his ISP.

Fixed! Apparently his home ISP hasn't picked up on the IP change. A different ISP had no problems.

I'm still having issues. I haven't posted until now cause, until today, the forum link would take me to a white page, black text, saying something about a server changeover.

Still having the same issues with the site. Again, I've tried typing in the URL, links from the feed, links via google search...nothing seems to work.

    This truly boggles my mind.

    I have not tried that.

It has started working again...my friend just IMed saying it was working for him to. Not sure what has changed...

If it happens again, I'll try flushing my DNS.
