spoiler tags in edit screen

often the reason for doing a quick edit is because you forgot to wrap spoiler tags around something, so it would be awesome if the quick spoiler tag button could be added to the edit screen. i don't know if there' s some coding problem with it, but it would be helpful if it was added in


i searched and found a thread in here that briefly mentioned this, but it was a year old and i didn't want to necropost

In case you didn't know, clicking on "Go Advanced" will take you to a screen with a spoiler button. It's slightly less convenient but works fine for me.

I think the point is that it is inconvenient to do it that way. In a busy thread those seconds could be the difference between nothing happening, and people going berserk on you for not spoiling.

Yeah, there have been many times I wish the spoiler button was in Quick Edit. I usually just type the tags in as opposed to hitting the Advance button but the button there would be nice.

Sure, I was just offering an alternative solution for in the meantime.
