Although a Monday night might mean that they will show new ones for a week straight? That's the only reason I can think of for not having it on Friday.
What the hell, Nickelodeon? Now I'd love a full week of Avatar, but in July? WTF seriously.
Well uh what about YTV in Canadia? Will they be showing new episodes in the mean time? 'cause I'm all for downloading them if I have to.
Also while I agree Zuko has become a better, more-well rounded character, Azula is still awesome. Her villainy and audacity are right up there Xanatos and Professor Moriarty. Sure she's not complicated in personality, but the diversity of the ways she can fuck shit up makes up for it.
Also, insane Azula from "Boiling Rock" has me really intrigued and excited.
And Jesus Zuko looks 10 times better without the ponytail. More mature, less of a caricature.

On YTV: I have no idea. YTV is like a combination of Nick, CN, and Disney (I think), so their schedule is all over the place.
On Azula in the trailer:
Hmm, I don't think she goes nuts until the finale. There are a few fight scenes with her that are definitely from "The Boiling Rock," and she looks normal. I'd guess something related to Ursa starts breaking her in the finale.
What does your title say? I assume it's Chinese, but I don't have that alphabet, so I can only see boxes. Not that I'd be able to read it anyway.

Ugh, I hate it when I switch my wording midsentence.
I could make you a nice sig out of that picture, though to get the whole owl in the picture might have to be shrunk down a bit. So do you want the largest possible sig or a well-cropped sig?

Gah, yes sig, I meant sig.
Whatever looks best, really. Small is good, as long as it doesn't look too weird from being shrunk so much.

*Nods* Okay, I'll work on it tonight. I'll try to make it look as nice as possible, whatever that means exactly.
i thought the ultimate waterbending technique was just gonna be like sucking the water out of people and mummifying them but bloodbending holy shit
I'm seriously impressed that this even got on TV at all.
I mean, I'd have thought the BS&P would shit bricks at the concept.

I thought pulling moisture from the air was really cool, I wish Katara would use that sometime.
But I guess carrying a pouch is easier.

Speculation/Prediction time!
First off, why haven't we really discussed the White Lotus Society? We know that Iroh and Piandao (Sokka's sword master) are members, and I think that is where Iroh has headed to. They are most likely a very old society. Season 2 Iroh and Zuko walk into a bar, Iroh begins a game of Pai Sho with an older gent. He places his first tile in the center of the board and the remark is made that ‘not many cling to ancient ways’. You are not sure what it is that the WLS does, but Piandao and Iroh have similar philosophies. Iroh is very respectful of other cultures and their ways, and has never at any point supported the war. At the end of the Sokka’s Master ep. Piandao says “the way of the sword doesn't belong to any one nation. Knowledge of the arts belongs to us all.” He even allows Aang to go despite his being the Avatar, not something a proud Hotman would do. The WLS is in all likelihood against the war and all for bringing back peace. How would Iroh have fallen into it? I am not sure, but it must have happened before his position was overruled. You can assume that there was a period of time before he took up his military position and traveled. He could have been initiated then. Working with the WLS perhaps he intended to come into power and end the war. After Ozai took the throne and before he took in Zuko there would have been time period of 4 years where he could have further collaborated with them.
*The gaang will encounter the WLS, and this is where they will find Iroh and Piandao.
*Azula will usurp her father; what that means for the fight I do not know. I doubt the gaang will kill her though. It is 'children's programming'. She will bring about her own death, sort of like Zhao. Maybe she falls off a cliff or something.
*Katara will use bloodbending. Maybe against Tai Lee or Azula, but I'm not sure she will use it offensively.
*The person behind documenting the gaang's adventures is the former Emperor of Ba-Sing-Se. He left to travel the world, did he not? He most certainly have to make an appearance at the end, perhaps playing the role of himself in the play.
*Aang and Zuko lighting-bend against Azula. How cool would that be?
*Iroh dies. If his role in the WLS is as I speculate, his life’s purpose was to both bring back peace and to guide his nephew. Zuko redeemed and order restored, his goals have been accomplished. What else is left but to join his son?
*Zuko becomes fire-lord. Azula gone, Iroh dead, someone needs to take the throne.
I have predictions surrounding Ursa but I'll write them up later.
Those are some pretty reasonable predictions Muse.
I'm not sure about Azula usurping Ozai, but I could see that happening. Also, I'm curious if they will reveal what happened regarding Iroh and the Spirit world, its been hinted at a few times.

What I've been wondering is why no one has been mentioning the comet itself. Remember back in the episode where Aang had trouble sleeping? I believe it was in the dream sequence when he finally got to sleep where we see a large fiery ball of death impact the planet. I assumed this was the comet and that by drawing upon its power the collective pull of all the firebenders altered its course so that it will hit the planet this time around. Or at least, is close enough this time around so that enough of a pull this time will cause it to hit. Considering what I presume to be the comet entering the atmosphere in the trailer at NYCC, I kind of figured this would be something discussed more.
I really don't think Azula is going to die; she seems more like a candidate for "mysterious disappearance" than standard evil villain death, in my opinion.

I had always assumed the comet just grazed across the atmosphere but if what you say does happen
then you could assume that Earthbenders will be key to preventing catastrophe. Where would you find earthbenders? Ba-Sing-Se. Perhaps that would be where everything culminates.
Now onto Ursa:
Ursa's grandfather is Avatar Roku, let's not forget. I highly doubt that she willingly married Ozai, descendant of a man that killed her grandpop and started the war. I also doubt her mother was married to Azulon (incest!). She was most likely captured and forcibly married as an act to spite Roku (/the avatar), and perhaps because her pedigree would result in more adept firebending offspring. We are not sure how genetics play a role in the universe, but perhaps the children of avatars are particularly gifted, and perhaps the effect could last a couple generations. It could explain Azula's special prowess. What sort of iffs me is this: why would the grandaughter of the avatar be married to the son that wouldn't inherit the throne? Whether they were married or not may not matter, but it is only expected that she and Iroh would know one another. What if Ozai found out Iroh wasn't as enthusiastic about the war as he should be? What if he thought Iroh and Ursa (who has no reason to support the war or even like the royal family) were conspiring? No, I do not mean an affair or anything, but planning a way to end the war. My guess is that Ursa (who was banished) is with the White Lotus Society. She could have been introduced by Iroh, or perhaps had known about it from the start.

It's not exactly something kids can try and emulate though.
Right, right, it's the imitatable violence that gives them a raging hard-on, isn't it?
Remember in the Fairly Oddparents movie where Timmy enters the TV, when they're spoofing Tom and Jerry? They included all the classic violence, but with Wanda and Cosmo popping in front of the screen so they can get away with it.

wh-what's wrong with ponytails
also, this beach episode is the most magnificent thing ever, I've nearly fallen out of my chair a few times
just
zuko's with the bald and the scar just made him look horrible and i never really took him too seriously while he had it
Why didn't Chan want to date Azula? She's the whole package.
I loved how they wrecked the dude's house though, I was praying they would do that.
I took him more seriously before now, he's been so damn emo lately. He's like Sasuke from Naruto but without the swirly eyes.
azula's a keeper indeed
Zuko totally kicked that table's ass.
and robin
some sort of kevin french/robin amalgamation
well yeah attitude-wise, sure
but i am very shallow and base characters on their looks
because everyone should be as much of an adonis as i am
his pony tail didn't seem to bad at first because it was all we knew.
But then his hair grew out and I can't imagine him just going back to the ponytail.
and bald!Zuko looked like a cancer patient.
Check the flag at the bottom.
Although a Monday night might mean that they will show new ones for a week straight? That's the only reason I can think of for not having it on Friday.
Still,
i'll almost be 23 by then!
Although that didn't stop them before-- the May 6th DVD will have new episodes.
Still, the trailer said it would end in July, so I'm thinking there will be new episodes every night.

It is more glaring than a typo.
Why are people surprised about the July thing now? Wasn't it displayed prominently at the end of the NYCC finale trailer?
