Seriously left a trail of corpses behind him as he made his way through the burning Phallactica. He was wounded, his hair had burned off, and the heat and smoke were destroying his lungs, but he barely felt the pain. This organic shell meant nothing to him now. All that mattered was the Plan.
Back on the bridge, Admiral cj iwakura lay dead, together with most of his staff. Seriously had left an explosive little surprise for them before leaving. No doubt enough of them had survived to operate the Phallastar, but that didn't bother the Cylon anymore. If he succeeded today, the Phallactica would never be a problem again.
He stopped as he heard voices ahead.
"Mister President, we need to move you to safety!" someone shouted. "This place isn't stable, the Cylon are-"
An explosion rocked the ship. More shouting. "Medic!" someone called.
Seriously patted his pocket. He had two Armory Keys. Keys to the storage chamber of a massive thermonuclear bomb. God willing, one of the people aboard Colonial One would have the last one.
He lifted his assault rifle and walked into the smoke.

"Why the frak did we even dock to this tub?" Last Son shouted over the commotion. He and Wildcat were escorting President Iamtheaznman out of Colonial One. The hangar was littered with corpses and burning rubble. Most of the Presidential staff was dead. "The whole place is on fire!"
"I guess I should have vetoed that law", the President grumbled. On the other side of the hangar, a group of pilots ran towards the viper bays.
Iamtheaznman stopped. "You know", he said, "I'm gonna go with them. That's where they need m-"
He was interrupted by a sudden burst of gunfire from somewhere ahead of them.
"Get down!" Last Son shouted and threw himself on the President. But it was already too late. The attacker hadn't missed with a single bullet. Blood poured out of several holes in Iamtheaznman's chest and throat.
A figure stepped out of the billowing smoke. He was covered in ash and so badly burned that they could barely recognize him as Seriously.
Both soldiers rolled to the side and tried to fire back, but the Cylon was faster. He mowed Last Son down with another burst from his rifle, then turned to fire at Wildcat with an amused smirk on his face. The sluggish movements of these monkeys were so simple to predict. How could their species ever have inflicted so much damage?

For a split second, Seriously stared at his jammed weapon in horror. This couldn't be happening. These guns couldn't become jammed, the probability of this happening was -

"We can't hold them back anymore", Oatway said. "They're gonna take out the Gideon too."
Dozens of Raiders were chasing him. He had decided against going in to replace his damaged Viper. Most of these other pilots were mere kids. The Raiders would wipe them out if he didn't stay to cover their asses.
The Gideon was falling apart. Hundreds of Raiders attacked it from all directions. The Vipers couldn't keep them away. They had already lost Cloud 9. Oatway's old friend cheez had been aboard. Another friend of his, FreeAgent, was on the Gideon.
"Flare, you're smoking. You should replace the craft."
"I'll be fine", Oatway said.
Captain "Flare" Oatway, had seen a lot of battles. He wouldn't have minded seeing a few more, but that didn't seem likely anymore. The controls of his Viper were failing.
Below him, the nuclear missile barrage of the Cylon Basestars struck the Gideon. There was a blinding flash, and the hulking transport vessel turned into a gigantic ball of fire.
"Man I'm glad I was up here and not in there", Sabs said on the radio.
"Sabs, look out!" Oatway shouted, but it was too late. A Raider, sent tumbling out of control by the explosion, crashed into Sabs' Viper. The force of the impact was enough to shatter both fighters.
Ahead of him, a squadron of Raiders had headed towards their next target, the Phallactica. Oatway chased after them. He might be going out today, but he intended to take many of them with him.

Aboard a distant Cylon command ship, the Cylon models had assembled for a meeting. They, three of each model, stood around a massive round table, its glass surface covered with a thin sheet of flowing clear liquid.
They placed their hands on the table and spoke through the water.
"This has been an unfortunate setback", a thorgot said. "We must decide how to proceed from here."
"What can we do?" one of the Osviks said. "We cannot go near them again. Not before we find a cure for the disease the humans deployed against us."
"It will be taken care of. We will find a cure and proceed to eliminate their species", a delroland said. "It is merely a matter of time."
"We think our failure was a sign. We believe we failed because we were meant to fail", a Plutonium said.
"'Meant' to fail? We think our failure was caused by much more mundane factors", thorgot said. "One of you malfunctioned during the operation. I am curious to hear how you plan to compensate for the damage you have caused."
All eyes turned to the three Plutonium models.
"We should abandon this course of action", the Plutonium leader said after a while. "We think the premises of our attack on humanity were flawed."
"Explain."
"It is a well known fact that we become increasingly like them with prolonged exposure. We do not think this is a malfunction. We think it is something more profound. We think that eliminating our creators at this point would be a mistake."
"We think your entire model is malfunctioning", a PsychoLarry1 said.
"It was not a Plutonium that killed a fellow Cylon during the operation", the Plutonium replied.
"It was an act of euthanasia. He was more human than Cylon", a Gumpy said.
"Blasphemy!" a Romantic Undead hissed aloud. All three Gumpys glanced at him with contempt.
They were all silent for a long time, each model conversing in private with his own kind.
"The Plutoniums may be right", the Seriously models said in unison after a while. "We propose a withdrawal until we can gather more information."
"We agree", the PsychoCucumbers said.
And one by one, the Cylon models voted in favor of withdrawing back to Cylon space. For the time being.
"So be it", thorgot said.

Wildcat met him in the hangar.
"Wow, what the hell happened here?" Gorilla Salad said.
"A Cylon went berserk", Wildcat said. "The President and the Admiral were killed. And pretty much everyone else too. But I guess we're safe now."
