I've been digging through my collection of old games in my parents cupboard and have started throwing them back on to my computer to play through again... King's Quests, Quest for Glorys... basically the greatest games ever. Are there any really pretty DosBox front ends that I can use to organize these well? I'm looking at the full collection for most of the quest series and miscellaneous other Sierra classics, so a few dozen games in total. I'm looking for a frontend that lets me use a picture for the selection icon, where I can just have the title screen or something.
Thanks, I took a look at D-Fend, but I'm hoping for something more graphically oriented than a list of games. Unless I'm missing an option in it to change the appearance.
Why bother with a frontend when you can set up the .conf file to run most everything?
I don't understand, but it sounds intriguing.
With 0.7 DOSbox really no longer needs to have a frontend if set the CPU and cycles to auto and set your mounts under the autoexec section of the dosbox.conf file. I run most everything just fine this way.
