For those of us who either did not trust or couldn't be arsed with the freeloader (or demanded that their home run contest be measured in metres), Smash has finally been dated for Europe.

    I thought you guys got it first, just like mario kart... Isn't Mario Kart a fair trade off?

    Hmmmm, I personally feel I've lost some enthusiasm for Brawl. Worldwide release would obviously be the solution.

    Can anyone explain why they don't or can't do simultaneous worldwide releases for games?

    They couldn't press enough discs or manufacture enough Wii consoles to meet the demand for both in a worldwide launch. Why they didn't just delay it until they could have a worldwide release I don't know. Personally I would rather everyone have a medium-ish delay than give it to a few people on time and hugely screw over the others.
