My mom called me today asking for suggestions on music that my dad can dance to with my future-wife at our wedding this year. Outside of rock, metal, and classic rock I really have no clue about soft-slow dance music. Some advice on the situation would be greatly appreciated. It has to be appropriate music for a father in law / daughter in law dance.
I second Diana Krall. You may also want to look into Michael Buble (his early stuff, before he started singing generic pop) and Feist. Both have great voices, and both are contemporary artists (easier to find stuff), and both sing some great songs.

Alternatively, whatever their song is.
Or maybe just whatever people in this thread are suggesting.
You don't want stuff too slow or you just seem to be standing there, so some jazz is great.
Also limed so hard,

They are one part super hero, one part rock n' roll, and 3 parts TOTALLY AWESOME! So that makes them have FIVE PARTS RAD AS HECK!
Try to find the song, "Chemical Bomb" It's the perfect slow dance song for your wedding.
Sure it won't matter to our guests, but it will matter to my dad and my wife so I am going to do my best to come up with some good songs.
Thanks for everyones' input so far.
