The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Okay so I just recently got a new PC, as in two days ago. It has two 70gig hard drives and Windows Vista. It's a computer for me and my mom so I was wondering if it was possible on vista to move my profile to disk D and have everything automatically save there and leave my moms on disk C and have all her stuff automatically save there. If it is possible if anyone has a guide or anything it'd be greatly appreciated as I somehow doubt it'd be as easy as copy and pasting my profile to D... Thank you in advance.
I don't think this is possible. Your "my documents" and profile is created in your win "Documents and Settings" folder, I believe off the top of my head, which is kinda "installed" on the same hard drive that Vista was installed to. I don't know if this makes sense, I can't think of a better way to describe it. Best thing for you to do though would be just (as I assume YOU are the more tech savvy one) would be just install everything of yours into the second hard drive, and manually save all your files there. Anything that automatically saves to your profile, and you can't change (which should be very little) just move over to the other drive manually. Your mom would have access to all your stuff unless you password the drive, but I'm sure she wants to keep an eye on your "porn" collection anyway.
