Getting mail off Outlook Web Access

My school's IT department is run by idiots, so they chose Microsoft Web Access instead of one of the billion free alternatives that are hundreds of times better.

I want to get a copy of all the mail, but it lacks any sort of client access. I don't want a repeat of 2005 when they switched from everyone.net to the latest disaster, and gave us 3 days to get all the mail off. Of course, they're idiots, so all the mail was gone in 24 hours, and everyone.net is equally useless (javascript mail links, no client access).

Anyone have a solution to this? I want to get it off the server and put it right in to an IMAP box. I'm fine with shell scripts if that's the way to go.

Evolution (linux mail client) will connect up and download from exchange and uses the OWA interface for it.

Doesn't look like it has a Windows port. I'll see about booting with an ubuntu livecd tommorow and see if I can get my e-mail that way. Thanks. :)

Evolution is saying it can't connect. The webpage uses SSL. Does Evolution not support that?
