It never even occurred to me that there were other control configs. I just never looked.

At this point I'm so used to the default ones I probably couldn't do the others.

It takes a while to adjust.

I've been using Boxer since Halo 1, so I don't feel like trying anything else.

Man I want to play right now.

My last finals are tonight and another tomorrow whenever I want. I hope to be playing a lot more when I'm done with this damned semester.

    I like anything between 8 and 10.

For the love of god why couldn't they make switching Left Button to 'push to talk' an option for all set-ups. :(

    Either

    A) I'll explode
    B) I'll die from lack of change
    or
    C) I'll start upping my wife's sensitivity when she isn't looking.

Wow I play with sensitivity 4 (good days) or 5 (bad days).. my philosophy was if I need to turn around super fast needing sensitivity 8 or 9, I had put myself in a crappy situation, didn't check my radar enough, and was going to die anyway.

The higher sensitivities feel nice to me for a while, but then I have to use a gun with a scope and I can't hit shit... and I'm usually pretty bad at scoping anyway.

I should fiddle with the sensitivity.

The default was great for campaign; but it feels a bit too slow for how much faster pace multiplayer is.

What number is the default? 5 I would imagine?

I've sent a friend request to A TBK Clan.

I'm pretty new to Halo online and I'm not very good, but I'm not a douche and I try my hardest. I'm sick of having to mute half of the players before every game and getting teamkilled all the time and want to play with dudes who are not going to be dicks.

I've been up as high as 7 but sometimes things get so hectic and I'm suddenly aiming so sporadically that I'm back at default. And I'm using the right thumbstick as the melee. Forget the name of that one.

Only problem with it is I have a bad habit of jamming on the thumbstick in a tough fight, which gets me stuck in crouch.

It's never been that bad for me, unless I'm trying to get away or crouch jumping.
Mostly, I am aware of my toggle. And I enjoy having feeling in my thumbs when defending a base with a shotgun.

On the upside, I've been playing a lot of Army Of Two at a friends house in the meantime. That game rules.

I stay at 4 for smooth sniping. Bumper Jumper, once you get used to it, is very nice. Being able to melee and/or jump as you turn left/right really helps (You can get an assassination from the front, if you jump, look down, and melee the top of their head). Zoom in is still on the right stick. I used the melee is right stick controls before, and always had problems with zooming in... wasn't a problem in halo 2, but was annoying in halo 3. The best part about Bumper Jumper is the banshee controls. You have the 2 shots, boost and dodge on the triggers/bumpers... it's fun to fly that way. Also, toggle crouch makes sneaking easy on your thumbs, but I'm a jump monkey, I need fast access to crouch/uncrouch, and 2 clicks is just too much :P

When I first switched to bumper jumper, I had a bad habit of jumping out of the banshee when I wanted to fuel rod. It made me sad and the subject of much ridicule.

Yeah I did that too. Why did you just give them a banshee?.... a.... it's a legitimate strategy. Took me a few to figure out how to dual wield/reload duals too.

I think it's B as pick up weapon/get in vehicle/ reload (right)... and A as reload/pick up left. It's hard to remember without a controller in my hands. Wait.. that's right, cause I just mash A and B to reload when I dual wield :P
