Okay so I searched and did not find any mention of this news of utmost importance
The Last Stand now has a sequel!
Some of the changes that have been made:
The story is pretty straightforward. It takes place immediately after the first, when it is discovered that someone in the helicopter is infected. The helicopter crashes and you have to make your way to Union City within 40 days to reach the rescue boats or you're fucked.
So go play it, it's even better than the first

- New weapons
- Multiple locations, 40 days to reach Union City
- Each map has a variety of locations to search for survivors, weapons and supplies
- The larger the city the more it has of everything (weapons, survivors, supplies and zombies)
- Survivors can be killed during combat by zombies with weapons
- The game is much more difficult

You'd better hope you have traps and survivors
The Last Stand is one of the best flash games ever created

And then you get the awesome sniper rifle that takes out three zombies at a time
then it's still fun, but much easier.
You can find things like gas cans and bear traps to place in front of your barricade
They are highly valuable in the later stages, so save them for when you need them
Found a bow, and it basically never has to reload.
Made it to the city right before Union and lost again and again because I didn't invest enough into health...
Too lazy to retry all the way.
Being unable to fire your weapon (yeah, that pretty much screws you over)
Survivors that die in combat sometimes do not respawn when you retry
Some locations cannot be searched at times

which would've been fine except I clicked "main menu" instead of "retry", apparently

Hunting Rifle and Chainsaw all the way, baby
Have you found the bow? It's the best weapon in the game. It one shots dogs, and takes at most two headshots to kill anything else.
I think I found it but didn't use it. I love the hunting rifle, it one shots dogs and (almost?) everything else if you get a headshot, and each bullet goes through a zombie so it can hit another. Total godsend.
It was fun, but there was a moment near the end when I had searched every place in that second to last city but apparently still didn't have enough supplies, so I thought I was screwed, but I guess the game either took pity on me and gave me the last supply, or just went "oh yeah, you have all the supplies, I hadn't noticed" and opened up the way for me
I got a bunch of weapons, but no bow. Man, the AK and M4 should be way more badass than they are
I ended up using the Uzi and Chainsaw throughout most of the game, just like the last one

this one? not a problem. i used the starting pistol until i got the uzi.
then the game was beaten
actually it wouldn't be so hard if there weren't so many bugs with the survivors
at one point i should have had four but only 1 showed up to fight
