Sad news about Resident0 - Painting Ideas Needed

My name is Kiri, I am Mike's fiancee (Resident0). I am writing this thread to inform all his friends on here that he passed away on Saturday evening in hospital. The exact cause is unknown although it appears he suffered from a form of leukemia that the doctors failed to pinpoint. I know he spent a lot of time on this website and its forums and it brought him a lot of joy to talk to all of you so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for being great friends to him. I will continue to occasinally check his emails, facebook, etc so if anyone wishes to talk about him or anything then please do.

    This alone makes the thread even sadder. I personally have a fear of dying, that can sometimes leave me paranoid from thinking too hard about it, and I've often thought just how much I would miss if I died. After family and all that stuff, I always thought of all the fun video games I would be missing. I nearly cried when I read this part.

    Oh man. He was only about two years older than me. That's too terribly young to pass away.

    That's terrible to hear, honestly I never talked much to him but any loss in this community is a big one. We're all very much attached and losing a frequent member to a terrible disease (I lost my Grandfather to the same disease) is nothing but a large loss. We'll all miss him.

    Like someone said, he's probably playing GTAIV in the skies. :)

    I know it probably sounds real hollow over the internet, but I'm truly sorry for your loss. I only talked to the guy a couple times, but he seemed like a good man.
