As a long time Penny Arcade fan, I've debated doing a shameless plug of my podcast on here for other PA'ers. Since we just submitted a PAX discussion panel proposal, I thought now was a good time to start interacting and gathering feedback from potential PAX attendees on whether our show and subject matter is for you. If not, how to make it better for you. Here's the pitch:
If you're interesting in gaming and/or podcasts, then the 10th Muse Podcast is for you.
A brief description of our show
Patrick Lister (Producer @ Slipgate Ironworks, former on Call of Duty 2 & Call of Duty 4), Stephan Sherman (Lead Programmer @ Slipgate, former on Titan Quest, Eragon) & Mike Henry (Concept Artist @ Slipgate) are hosts of the 10th Muse Podcast (
http://www.10thmusepodcast.com/). We discuss topics revolving around game development, theory, design & current events with other industry professionals.
Our format consists of:
"What's on your mind?" A segment devoted to our current thoughts in video games
"Roundtable discussion" A selected topic for in-depth debate
and the 10th Muse questions for our guests:
1. "Secret Shame: a game critically and publicly loved but you hated"
2. "Guilty Pleasure: a game critically and publicly 'poo-poo'ed' but you loved"
3. "Ideal Project: Given location, studio, timeline, etc. what game would you wanted to have worked on the most and why?"
4. "What's your muse? Why you make games and how you're motivated to do it every day"
Our website is still in the works, but already features our episodes and a new discussion forum. You can also find us on iTunes under Podcasts > Video Games.
Thanks,
Patrick Lister

Well it is rather shameless, but colour me interested all the same. I think I will check this out.

Our discussion topic revolved around the Paralysis of Choice in video games. Per Barry Schwartz's book and discussion linked here.
