Fear Itself

This show used to be called "Masters of Horror".

Some things got changed around and different people are heading it up and it's being filmed here in Edmonton. I got to work for this production for a few days on my days off and it was awesome. I got to meet Frankie Flowers from Traffic and saw this super hot Josie Davis actress (they wouldn't let anyone near her of course) and met the dude who directed Freddy vs. Jason (kind of a fruitcake but nice guy). Also the Sheriff from Eureka he was very nice and asked me how his lines went because he had to walk off camera out of the shot where I was standing next to a monitor making sure people were quiet. We also got to block off an intersection to film a truck t-boning a car. I met a stuntman that worked on the Watchmen and he told me all about some big jail fight scene and how awesome it's going to be.

Anyway there are 13 episodes and each one is it's own little stand-alone like the Outer Limits, except it's horror. Each one is directed by a different director and there is some rumor Tarantino and Rodriquez might do an episode.

Check it out:

Yeah Lost is on Network television and there's no appeal there at all either they should just shut it down.

(Actually they had a line-producer guy there that had to direct how much blood the make-up girls used because he knew the ratio/amount that was allowable etc.

Still looked like a lot of blood to me though.)

Was Lost first aired on Showtime with an abundance of titties and people's faces being mauled off?

I loved the first season of Masters of Horror.

Didn't care too much for the second season.

I'll give this a shot, horror doesn't have to have tons of blood and gore to be good.

Yeah, titties and faces being ripped off generally falls under "Camp" for me and I much rather prefer somewhat realistic horror, not that super-bloody screaming crap that isn't scary unless you're eight years old.

    Falsified? No.

It's not all that bad, then.

Though, when you do rent it's typically best to split everything down the middle. Unless they're a lousy fucking layabout, in which case

The problem is that several days before, they got angry with me because I expected to pay the same rent as they do for the same room. They got angry with me because I told them that just because they shared the room doesn't mean its less valuable.

Now I find that dude isn't even sleeping in the same room as his brother, but he's paying rent like he is. Fuck that. And, when I bring this up, I'm going to be the bad guy.

    Exactly. Money is money.

They aren't paying for the privilege, they're paying for the room. If they're not going to use it, then they're not going to pay for it either.

There's two other roommates in our apartment. They aren't deadbeats, but I feel that they're going to grief me for having this opinion. If they think I'm such a big asshole, they can pay for their buddy's rent then.

And Protip: If you expect the guilt card to work, don't be a liar and a dick about things.

I'm confused, are you saying the two guys living in the same room should both have to pay a full share of the rent or split it with each other?

They split it with each other. The total comes out to the same amount as my own room.

The correlary to that is, if one of the brothers wants to sleep in the living room, then he will pay for his own room. In that case, the rent would not be split in two (as it is now) but into three.

    Makes sense.

Fuck, actually I'd charge whoever was in the living room extra for stealing a shared room and making it "their room."

Basically he and this serial killer die at the same time and their spirits are wandering around a hospital. He is an upstanding family man and the serial killer takes over his body.

So the Eureka guy wakes up in the serial killer's body surrounded by cops. Starts claiming he's not that guy. Obviously they don't believe him.

The serial killer (In his body) shows up at the jail to gloat that he's going to do his wife and maybe kill his cute little daughter. So he's basically taunting him in the room were you talk to each other through the glass.

His performance was quite excellent. Can't remember all of the lines it was pretty long but it ended with, "Your daughter's such a cute little girl...her bee recital is tonight...she's such a cute little girl..."
