360 Battery Not Working

So my rechargable 360 battery isn't working. It won't charge. If I plug in the wired USB charger, it just turns on the controller but doesn't charge the battery. Do I have a lemon?

    You mean the controller battery, right?

    I just had one die on me. New ones cost about $12.

    Bummer. Thought it might be some sort of fixable issue. Guess not.

    Yeah, they die easy. My brother's from last summer died back in January, and the one on my Halo 3 360 runs out of juice pretty fast.
