It seems pretty likely that it's going to be Warmachine to me. Slott says in the interview that someone from the Initiative will be coming over, but it won't be someone we expect. Well presumably what we should expect is one of the Initiative trainees to graduate to the team, so to make it one of the instructors instead fits the bill.

And that fits with the one founding member, since I'm pretty sure that's Hulk... or is it RULK?? *dum dum dummmmmm*

well Stature would also fit the "coming over from the Initiative" criteria.

technically Jacosta would too although yeah I dont think he meant her.

I guess War Machine could be leading the team, but Iron Man's the one with the triangle on his head.

Still, that's probably Hulk, so maybe Slott just lied or whatever.

Paul Brian McCoy of Comics Bulletin thoroughly shits on Mighty Avengers #19 which comes out tomorrow. Here's his review:

    http://www.comicsbulletin.com/reviews/12239871141912.htm

Keep in mind he doesn't like the Secret Invasion storyline to begin with, in case you couldn't tell from his last comment.

I meant the issue. I wouldn't even give it a point for art based on the preview. Marvel Boy looks like an old man.

    The Mighty Avengers preview?

Because that's at the bottom of the review.

Reading his review I can see how Mighty #19 might be the weakest Bendis written SI issue so far. I'm still picking it up but I am looking more foward to Slott's take on Mighty after reading what he has planned for it. Overall however I have enjoyed all of SI New and Mighty Avengers issues, some more than others of course.

Has stature actually been featuring in the Initiative book, or do you just mean that she joined the initiative? He does say that Jocasta isn't the one he is referring to, he says her plus one other from the Initiative.

She hasn't been a major character in it but she's shown up from time to time, and I just meant that as far as heroes actually registered with "The Initiative" she's one of the bigger ones (no pun intended)

I don't know if occasionally showing up is enough to make her a member of the cast though, not really.

I'm not saying War Machine isn't in the Mighty Avengers, he very well could be!

But Rhodey was only ever a background character in The Initiative book

OK so Mighty Avengers #19 wasn't that bad. Still don't like Khoi Pham's art but the writing was good enough. Bendis must really love the Captain Marvel character.

Yes, yes it did. I'm thinking the preview for next issue means
Wasp dies in SI. Tony, Ares, Ms. Marvel, Sentry, and Wonder-Man are all reaching towards nothingness. She's the only one not shown, and the issue is called "Remembrance".
