Hey all. VH said earlier that he would end Night 1 at the same time as the phalla was locked but that everyone would get a PM if they hadn't submitted an action so that could do so.

I believe Deliroland and Trueneverborn are in the lead. My actual counts are unrelliable because I forgot this phalla had no retractions untill I was halfway done so I am preaty sure I double counted some votes.

Bliss 101 sat on the bench at Central Park and stared at the New York skyline. He reached into his coat pocket and removed a pipe, and then drew a pouch of tobacco from another pocket. He laboriously transferred just the right amount of tobacco from the pouch to his pipe, and then lit it with a match. Bliss 101 was an old Other, but he had not lost his appreciation for high quality tobacco. This specific tobacco was from a special farm in Kentucky. He had made sure to become especially good friends with this particular farmer, due to the award winning tobacco the farm produced each year. The farmer gave Bliss 101 the prime leaves from his crop, for which Bliss 101 paid him generously. Yes, Bliss 101 was an Other who enjoyed his tobacco.
Sighing, Bliss 101 puffed on his pipe a couple times, and then addressed the trees behind him. “I know you’re there. I may not be worth much, but I know when somebody’s trying to sneak up on me.â€
The Light One chuckled and approached the bench. “I should have known better. You’ve been around for much too long to miss the obvious signs I was giving.†He sat down on the bench next to Bliss 101. “So, have you heard the latest? I hear someone’s going around killing Dark Ones.â€
Bliss 101 nodded sagely. “Yes, indeed. I too have heard things, similar tales about fallen Light Ones.†The Light One’s face clouded momentarily, and he growled, “Impotent fools, they were not careful enough.â€
Bliss 101 glanced sidelong at his companion and said, “I hope you’re not expecting me to be as incautious as they were. You’ll be sorely disappointed if that’s the case.†The Light One grinned and said, “Of course not, I would never be so foolish. What could I do with you staring right at me? In any case, we all abide by the treaty, no?â€
The bolt of light energy struck Bliss 101 in the side of the face, killing him instantly. The Light Other stood from the bench and was joined by a taller man. “Good work. Another source of evil purged from the earth. Our cause grows stronger.†The shorter man nodded and replied, “Yes, our mission progresses well. Perhaps next we should…wait, do you see that?â€
The taller man glanced over his shoulder. “Yes. Leave it to me.†He shook the smaller man’s hand, and then opened a Light portal, disappearing from view. The remaining Light One took a seat on the bench. He rummaged through Bliss 101’s jacket and found the pipe. Lighting it, he took a couple puffs, and started coughing violently. Shaking his head, he tucked the pipe back into Bliss 101’s coat, and then, waving his hands, set the body ablaze. By the time his companion had returned, dragging a Dark Other by the scruff of his collar, Bliss 101’s body had disappeared.
The tall Other tossed spaik to the ground and addressed the smaller man. “It seems we have doubled our success for tonight, my friend.†The smaller man shook his head. “He is so weak, he is hardly worth killing.â€
“Please!†spaik cried, “Please spare me! I…I have information! I’m part of a group, we’re trying to stop the renegade Dark Ones from killing you! Maybe we can work together! Can we come to some kind of agreement?â€
The two Light Ones looked at each other for a moment, as if contemplating what spaik had offered. Then the smaller one looked at him and said “Clearly you’re not familiar with our work. We’re not particularly interested in agreements with Dark Ones…agreements of any sort.†He stretched out his hand, and a bright flash of light was all that marked spaik’s passing from the world.
