Forza 2

I was playing the hell out of the basic Race mode in GTA IV multiplayer and then I realized there are, y'know, actual racing games for the 360. And I didn't have any of them.


So I got Forza 2 last night. Does anyone out there have this and want to play it sometime? Or am I way too far behind the curve?

    Forza 2 is the best game.

    I wish I had been playing longer when I made this, but I have an awesome RockBand Lexus IS300 that I painted up. I've probably spent as much time in the paint mode as I have on the track.

    I played a couple of minutes of it last night... I spent so much time playing Gran Turismo 3 and 4 that I can't drive for shit with trigger buttons. I need to get a wheel/pedals.

    I've been playing it to kill time before Rock Band is released over here. I'm on every night from 10:30-12:30pm GMT if anyone's up for some races.

    Fuck yeah this is the best racing game

    I'm almost at 100% in arcade mode and about 75% through the career

    My Gallardo Superleggera is feared throughout the imaginary racing world

    Fuck yeah, K. I'm FiveAgainst1 on Live, so any time you want to throw down on the weekends or something, I'd love to play some Forza. I haven't done much with the multiplayer in the year or so that I've had the game, so it'd be awesome to get into it with some PA dudes. In fact, someone should start a Game On or a Let's Play or some shit.

    Yeah, I'll only play racing games on the x-box series, because of the triggers, makes it infinitely easier to control the vehicle compared to the ps-line

    Forza's one of my favorite, but I'll be damned if I don't love me some Project Gotham

    Too many (not enough) hours were spent on Forza 2 last summer, but due to my roommate upgrading to an elite when the premium broke, all the hard work is gone.

    Still fun though!

    Heey, I remember trying to play this online with the bunch of people with "minmaxxed" cars. And whenever you actually were winning, everyone who wasn't left. The online portions of this game is today, not as good as I had hoped.

    Musclecars are such fun though, pity there aren't many races for them in career.
    Also a pity I get punished for my agressive driving style.

    I sort of assumed I would never play this game on Live with anyone who wasn't a PA forumer. Not really worried about the "community".


    I'd love to just jump into a race where everyone's in the same car and go to it. Does the online give you access to all the cars from Arcade mode? (I've seriously played less than 30 minutes of the game)

    Yeah, you have access to your entire garage and the arcade arsenal too.

    I think it's only hte ones you've unlocked in the arcade, but I'm not sure.

    Yeah, I would not recommend playing against the community, though I might just suck.
    I don't really have a car with a perfect 900 PI or whatever, and I never bother to get it perfect.
    So I'm driving a car with 451 PI while everyone else is just at the upper limit of the class with 499-500.
    So yeah.

    Yeah, you're gonna get your ass handed to you in multiplayer...
    Atleast I would.
    Though maybe there are some modes where they limit you to a certain car.
    Was some time since I played this.

    The great thing about Forza is that you can play with no assists and experience the best racing sim on the market, or play with all assists on and have the game play closer to an arcade style, in the same multiplayer game.
